Crop a Discord picture without guessing the shape

Choose what you are making

Start with Profile Avatar, HD Avatar, Server Icon, Server Banner, or Profile Banner. The tool sets the shape and size for that choice, so you do not have to enter the measurements yourself.

Discord uploads are usually square for avatars and icons, but they are often shown as circles. The round preview helps you keep a face, logo, or important detail away from the cut-off corners.

Keep the full picture or crop closer

Use Fit whole image when you want to keep every edge. If the picture and frame have different shapes, you can leave the extra space clear or add a background color.

Use Fill the frame when you want the picture to cover the whole area. Drag the image and adjust the zoom until the main subject sits where you want it.

Use a ready Discord image size

The ready choices are 128 × 128 for a profile avatar, 1024 × 1024 for an HD avatar, 512 × 512 for a server icon, 960 × 540 for a server banner, and 600 × 240 for a profile banner.

The selected size appears beside the preview. Advanced settings are available only if you need a different width or height.

Check the small preview before downloading

A crop can look good when it is large but feel unclear in Discord. Check the profile and chat previews to make sure the face, logo, or text is still easy to see.

Still images can be saved as PNG, JPG, or WebP. If you open an animated GIF, the GIF download keeps its movement. Your picture is handled in the current browser tab while you edit it.

A quick check before you save

The download follows the size and picture position shown in the preview.

  • The important part stays inside the round or wide guide
  • The selected size matches the image you want to make
  • The picture remains clear in the smaller preview
  • The background looks right when the full image is shown
  • You have permission to use the picture
